Hi! I’m Joanna, a 16-year-old Christian baker from the local area. I love baking, especially for other people, a mission I have for myself through my non-profit, JOYful Baking Co. JOY is an acronym for “Jesus, Others, You” and it’s a reminder for what truly brings joy: serving Jesus first, Others second, and Yourself last. Through this bakery, I hope to bring JOY to you and me!

As stated on the home page, 5% of the proceeds of my bakery will be going to the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community holds a special place in my heart; I myself am hard of hearing and at one point had a hearing aid. This is my small contribution to the DHH, especially since my sign language teacher worked at PSD. Your patronage is much appreciated!
